When my father-in-law needed hospice, this team helped us find ways to improve what time we had left with him. We heard the word 'hospice' and like a lot of people, we thought his life was over. With the team at Refuge, they didn't focus on the end-of-life; they focused on everything in between the day his doctor suggested hospice, to his final breath. They showed us that he still had life in him and helped all of us find joy in each day. Within his final days of life, one of the owners of the company showed up on our doorstep with needed supplies at six o'clock in the morning on a Saturday. The Refuge Care team was with us every step of the way.
